  • A completed bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation;
  • Experience in programming and commissioning control machines and logistic systems;
  • Experience with the ABB Rapid programming language;
  • You are result driven and analytically strong;
  • Willingness to travel globally for approximately 25% of the working time;
  • Knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both orally and in writing.

About your role as a Software Engineer Robotics

As a software engineer robotics, you are responsible for independently developing software programs to control machines and/or systems. You collaborate with mechanical engineering and project management in self-directed project teams. Together with this team, you create specifications for the system during the project's definition phase. According to the documentation, you develop and test the software in Raamsdonksveer. Once the system is installed on-site, you commission the system with the lead Installation Engineer worldwide.

Your responsibilities as a Software Engineer Robotics

  • You design, program, and configure robotic solutions;
  • You build and test these solutions based on user requirements;
  • You are active worldwide as a commissioning engineer;
  • You prepare the functional and technical documentation;
  • You attend design and progress meetings;
  • You support the service department with after-sales activities;
  • You create documentation and provide operator training to the client;
  • You actively manage the as-built information.
