About your role as a Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of project teams and for the execution of complex, high-quality technical projects from order intake to delivery. Project values range from approximately €0.5 to €5 million. A significant portion of the total turnover is generated outside the Netherlands. You will typically oversee multiple projects simultaneously, including service projects. It is essential that all projects are completed within the established standards for quality, time, cost, technical specifications, and customer expectations. All financial, organizational, and commercial aspects fall under your responsibility. This means you occupy a central position within a network of both internal and external contacts and are expected to demonstrate leadership with strong management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Your responsibilities as a Project Manager

  • You ensure an optimal project approach and project results;
  • You are responsible for the financial performance of the project and provide monthly management reports for each project;
  • You maintain strong relationships with customers, from the pre-order phase through to project delivery;
  • You are responsible for optimal internal and external coordination regarding project progress, risks, and reporting, as well as for providing feedback on these matters;
  • You chair various project-related meetings, focusing on both the content and efficiency of each meeting;
  • You are the driving force behind the project, leading a project team of approximately 3 to 10 colleagues. In doing so, you pay close attention to the people involved to ensure continuous engagement and commitment within the team.
