About your role as an Automation Account Manager
As the Automation Account Manager (AAM), you’ll be a crucial bridge between Madern and our valued automation clients. Reporting to the Sales Manager-USA, you’ll take ownership of the order intake, margin, and service offerings for both existing and new accounts. This position calls for an expert in relationship management, account strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.
Your responsibilities as an Automation Account Manager
In this role, you’ll have the following key responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs through regular visits and calls to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Account Strategy: Develop and execute account-specific strategies to meet sales and revenue targets, ensuring the company’s solutions align with client needs.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open and effective communication channels.
- Needs Assessment: Understand client business goals and challenges, identifying where our products or services can provide valuable solutions.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Meet sales targets by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within accounts.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, pricing, and contracts to secure client agreements.
- Problem Resolution: Collaborate with operations to address and resolve client issues promptly.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to keep ahead.
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with sales engineering, planning, production, and service teams to align order fulfillment with client needs.
- Reporting and Analytics: Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
