About your role as an Assistant Controller

As an Assistant Controller, you will take care of the daily operations in our finance department. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you play a vital role in keeping our financial administration on track for our project organization in Raamsdonksveer. Our Finance team is part of the Shared Service Center of the Madern Group, where collaboration and innovation go hand in hand.

Your responsibilities as an Assistant Controller

  • Entering financial data (primarily invoices) into the system and initiating (approval) workflows.
  • Managing bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and preparing payments.
  • Preparing tax forms and ensuring timely submission to the relevant authorities.
  • Preparing payments and handling reminders for outstanding balances.
  • Processing payroll data and journal entries.
  • Handling employee expense claims and daily allowances.
  • Assisting with payroll preparation tasks.
