My time at Madern was incredible! From day one, I felt welcomed by the team. The friendly and professional work environment made my experience enjoyable and offered great learning opportunities. I participated in project meetings and product tests, gaining insights I wouldn’t have encountered at university. The supportive staff at Madern were always ready to share their knowledge and help me grow technically and professionally.
One of my key projects was working on the stack-palletizer robot cell, a machine that uses pneumatic cylinders to move forks in and out. However, the distance could only be set manually at the start of a cycle, which was challenging for odd-shaped products. Madern asked me to redesign this part so the distance could be adjusted during the cycle, making it easier to handle irregular products. Over five months, I worked on achieving this goal.
Overall, my internship at Madern was unforgettable and full of valuable experiences. I’m thankful for the opportunity, the skills I developed, and the amazing people I met.
