What we are looking for:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
  • You are creative and capable of conceptual thinking.
  • You have a pragmatic approach and are good at planning and organizing.
  • You have strong communication and analytical skills.
  • You are willing to travel, including outside regular working hours and on weekends.
  • You are proficient in the complete MS Office suite.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience with 3D applications, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD is a plus.

About your role as a Project Engineer Auto Loader

As a Project Engineer Auto Loader, you will be the essential right hand of the Business Development Manager. You will take on the technical responsibility for projects from the sales stage to delivery to the customer. In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales, engineering, R&D, and the project organization to develop innovative system solutions. You will prepare quotes, create cost calculations, and organize practical tests to showcase our solutions to customers. Additionally, you will evaluate the feasibility of solutions and maintain precise project documentation. In this dynamic role, you will blend technology, commerce, and creativity to drive the success of our rapidly growing auto loader business.

Your responsibilities as a Project Engineer Auto Loader

  • Create business cases and development programs for new system solutions.
  • Work closely with R&D to develop concepts into new machines.
  • Organize practical tests to evaluate new concepts and convince customers.
  • Maintain close contact with internal technical specialists about the feasibility of the chosen solution.
  • Design technical specifications and assist in drafting functional specifications.
  • Develop an engineering work-break-down structure for projects, including planning and cost forecasts.
  • Create and review drawings and calculations of mechanical specifications at all project stages.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, identify risks, and take measures to manage them.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to turn opportunities into assignments.
  • Oversee final checks after the in-house test phase and during installation at the customer's site.
  • Support the service department with aftersales activities.
