Due to the growth of our organization, we are seeking a Product Manager who can introduce structure, focus, and direction to our product portfolio and way of working.

What we are looking for:

You are analytically strong and feel at home in a technical environment, while also understanding the commercial importance of making clear choises and offering reliable propositions. You work in a structured manner, are quality-driven, and think in terms of processes. In addition, you possess:

  • Strategic thinking ability, combined with a hands-on approach within the machine building industry

  • A strong personality with leadership capabilities, while also being a true team player

  • Strong analytical skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in a technical field, preferably, along with several years of relevant work experience in a technical/industrial environment

  • Affinity with product management, standardization, and process design

  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages

About your role as a Product Manager AutoLoader

As Product Manager, you are the connecting link between engineering, sales, and operations. You bring structure to our product portfolio, make clear choices regarding product principles, and ensure control over technical and commercial risks. You work closely with sales, engineering (R&D), and operations, and play a key role in the further professionalization of AutoLoader. In this role, you are given both the freedom and the responsibility to make an impact at both a strategic and operational level.

The Product Manager reports directly to the Technical Director of Madern Automation.

Your responsibilities as a Product Manager AutoLoader

  • Further develop and professionalize AutoLoader as an organization; help build processes, structures, and ways of working that fit a new and growing organization

  • Build bridges between a start-up mindset and the professionalism of an established organization

  • Focus on scalability within products, processes, and the organization

  • Structure and further develop the product standard

  • Safeguard the quality of quotations, including technical content and feasibility

  • Identify and manage technical risks within products and projects

  • Translate market demand and internal needs into clear product and design specifications; monitor and track relevant market and technological developments

  • Work closely with R&D to develop concepts into new machine functionalities; determine when to apply specific technical principles and solutions

  • Support sales, service, and operations in the correct application of (new) product standards

  • Actively contribute to product development and product management in the medium and long term

  • Collaborate intensively with (AutoLoader) business/sales and the operational organization
