What we are looking for:

  • A HBO (Bachelor-level) or WO (Master-level) student in the 3rd or 4th year of a relevant field of study (Controls / Industrial Automation / Mechatronics with a specialization in Control Systems).
  • You are available for at least 3 days per week starting from September 2026.
  • You have a proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
  • You take initiative and have a high level of self-motivation.
  • You have strong analytical skills and enjoy diving deep into complex challenges.
  • You enjoy a friendly and sociable work environment alongside working hard!

About your role as a Internship Software & Automation

Do you want to contribute to high-tech automation in the packaging industry? At Madern, you will have the opportunity to develop an innovative software solution that is directly applied in our machines worldwide.

During this internship, you will work on the automatic generation of pallet patterns from CF2 files, which are loaded directly into industrial robots (ABB). You will explore the CF2 file format, design and build a software integration, and test your solution in practice. All with one goal: smarter, faster, and error-free palletizing.
