What we are looking for:

You have completed a technical HBO education, preferably in mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
You have several years of relevant work experience with automated logistics systems and/or machine construction.
You are creative and can think conceptually, with a pragmatic mindset and perseverance.
You work independently and have strong analytical skills.
You have a good command of MS Office, especially Excel.
You are proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
Knowledge of the supplier market is a plus.

About your role as a System Engineer

Develop innovative system solutions based on customer specifications and maintain direct contact with customers.
Organize practical tests to demonstrate how our solutions work.
Collaborate closely with our internal technical specialists to assess the feasibility of solutions.
Create creative concepts, quotes, and project layouts.
Make accurate cost and system capacity calculations.
Prepare attractive quotes for our customers.

Your responsibilities as a System Engineer

As a system engineer, you will be the technical brain for our customers during the sales phases. You support the account management and project teams in developing system solutions with other technical specialists within the organization. You prepare system solutions, including quotes and cost-price calculations, and have frequent contact with customers about specifications. Additionally, you organize practical tests and work closely with internal specialists to assess the feasibility of the solutions. In short, a broad and dynamic role where you combine technology, commerce, and creativity.
